Suzie Burgess | Equine Art

Suzie Burgess is an equine artist who lives and works in Northern California. Her work merges her love of painting with her love of horses-creating paintings that convey the feeling of being in the presence of the horse.

Her large scale paintings are contemporary and timeless–dancing in the tension between being anatomically and structurally correct while playing with color, light and composition.
